My name is Raquel ‘Kasham Daniel
I am a development expert with over 5 years experience working directly with public primary schools in marginalized communities in Nigeria focusing on education and empowerment for girls.
In the last 5 years, I have volunteered for several projects and served on the board of two non-profit organisations. While at the University, I founded Beyond the Classroom Foundation, an NGO focused on improving education for less privileged pupils in public primary schools.
I am an Alumni Fellow of both the Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative of the US Consulate Lagos (CYFI) and the Social Innovation Program of LEAP Africa. In 2015, I was selected as an Associate Fellow of the Royal CommonWealth Society and a WEF Global Shaper with the Lagos Hub.
In my free time, I volunteer as a Mentor with the Queen’s Young Leaders Program.
I currently double as the Executive Assistant to the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Industry, Trade and Investment (Office of the Vice President) and lead the Admin Department of the Enabling Business Environment Secretariat (EBES).
